I sent him a Christmas card and a note just before Christmas. I hope he saw it and that realised how much we all cared for him. I’ll always remember fondly his 75th Birthday celebrations which were quite an event. From the presentation to the service and singing “this is the gay that the Lord has made” - truly a unique St Luke’s moment & a celebration of John’s life and your love and partnership that I was really pleased to be part of.
